Spacewalk

    Выход в открытый космос

On September 12, 2015, after 168 days on the International Space Station, Russian cosmonaut Gennady Padalka returned to Earth. However, before his return, he, together with Mikhail Kornienko, made a spacewalk and filmed his “space walk” on a GoPro camera.
During this exit, they cleaned one of the service module windows from the outside and installed soft handrails for easy movement around the ISS, and also took microbial swab samples from the station’s skin. Gennady Padalka holds the record for the longest stay in space. In total, the 57-year-old cosmonaut spent 828 days in Earth orbit. He made his first flight in 1998.
