It turns out that our luminary, and we, along with it, revolve around the center of the Milky Way galaxy at an average speed of 828,000 km \/ h. One revolution takes about 230 million years. The Milky Way is a spiral galaxy and consists of a central core and 4 main arms with several short segments. The sun is located near the Orion arm, between the two large arms of Perseus and Sagittarius. The Milky Way is about 100,000 light-years across, and the Sun is about 28,000 light-years from its center.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4892\" src=\"http:\/\/v-ger.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/solar-speed-1.gif\" alt=\"solar-speed-1\" width=\"636\" height=\"357\"><\/p>\n<p>If we consider the solar system on a galaxy scale, it turns out that, as a result of the enormous speed of our sun, all the planets of the solar system fly with it around the center of the galaxy, creating bizarre orbits.
