This time he was building concrete and clay domes in northeastern Thailand. He and his wife offered Steve a place on their mango farm to build their own home.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2858 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/v-ger.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/house-of-clay-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"628\" height=\"419\"><\/p>\n<p>Following Hajjar&#8217;s design ideas, Steve set to work on the construction, and within six weeks he had erected and painted the foundation for his future home &#8211; the dome walls.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2863\" src=\"http:\/\/v-ger.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/house-of-clay-3.jpg\" alt=\"house-of-clay-3\" width=\"628\" height=\"417\"><\/p>\n<p>The basic structure cost about $6,000. He took several weeks to add details such as doors, screens, a pond, stonework and landscaping. All this, together with furniture, came out under $ 3,000.
